What characterizes this position?
As Business Development Representative you identify and qualify leads and potential customers.
How you’ll shape our journey
  • Proactively develop and own an effective pipeline of new opportunities through the qualification of leads generated from marketing campaigns and outbound prospecting.
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities for the company in the US and Canada.
  • Reach out to potential customers via diverse channels such as phone, email, social media or other channels.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to optimize lead generation and conversion of prospects into customers.
  • Tracking and reporting on sales activities and results.
  • Understanding customer needs and mapping those to the key solutions areas in the Kinaxis RapidResponse solution.
What makes you a great fit
  • At least one year of professional (post-graduate) experience in a business development related role - we are looking for B2B experience in selling software solutions.
  • Sales experience in High Tech Electronics, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, CPG and similar manufacturing-oriented industries is a plus.
  • Knowledge in Supply Chain in general and SC Planning beneficial.
  • Experience in and knowledge of marketing, sales and business processes.
  • Able to easily connect with people and build rapport and trust with prospects.
  • Capable of approaching and talking to diverse groups within an organization including Supply Chain, Demand Management, Manufacturing Operations, Finance, and IT.
  • Well organized working style with the ability to focus and prioritize, also in environments with a high level of pressure and change.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English (written and spoken), with the ability to articulate, persuade and engage passionately.
  • Drive and enthusiasm is valued more than many years of experience.
